(GunReports.com) — President Obama has signed into law a border security measure that allows weapons tracing across the U.S.-Mexican border.The president signed the Southwest Border Security bill August 13.Regarding the measure, U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Carlos Pascual said that it is crucial to control the flow of arms from the United States to drug traffickers in Mexico. The weapons are being used to "confront authorities and to intimidate and extort citizens."

It's open only to military officials and officer cadets in drug enforcement.
